Really cool upgrade to my shoes
This is a really neat concept. Can’t tell you how excited I was to see a clear wrap to put on my shoes instead of dealing with fabric shoe protector sleeves that slide down mid-routine or even go flying across the studio. Shipping was very fast, and the Invisible Heel Protectors arrived in a very nicely branded tube and include everything you need for application: the protecting film, instructions, a mini spray bottle, and a small squeegee. The instructions were written very clearly and even included a link to watch a video on how to easily apply the film. I watched the video and followed the instructions carefully, making sure to get the bubbles out and heat treat with my blow dryer. Application wasn’t too hard. The film can be readjusted in the midst of applying with some more water if the film is not aligned correctly. After the 24-hour wait period, I went to the studio to take my shoes for a spin. The Standard film is best for folks who don’t heavily use their shoes (with kips, hard landings, and lots of sliding on the floor). Get the Pro Series if you need an extra layer of protection. Great product and great customer service!

My first purchase from Pole Mom Designs was the Standard series. They were decent at keeping the scuffs and scratches at bay. But not as durable when you constantly do kips and glides along the floor. Shina introduced me to her Pro Series instead. These have been great for how hard I am on my heels. They come with two layers of film for extra protection! After several weeks of wear, my shoes are still scuff free! You do want to be careful when applying the top film. If you lift it up too many times to adjust its placement, it can cause some bubbling and stretching of the material. But overall this is really a great invention for those of us who don’t want to destroy a beautiful pair of shoes with heavy usage. Thanks, Shina, for allowing me to test the Pro Series out. Will be buying this again. :)
